Moving across the river to the South, we couldn’t miss The Clapham Grand on our cheap London bar list.

Situated in a Victorian-era listed building in the centre of Clapham, it hosts a range of events from comedy nights, to live gigs, theatre shows and even games of bingo!

The Grand is not just about the drinks but it’s definitely about partying, so if you have no intention to dance until the sunrise, this wouldn’t be your scene of choice.

You’d be happy to hear that they too have a Happy Hour until 8 pm where beer is £3 and a cocktail for roughly a fiver – a total bargain!

However, the fun doesn’t end there, enjoy the band playing live music and dancing with friends or even strangers all night long – The entry is free there is a live band playing live music and it’s only open from Thursday to Saturday and closes at 3 am, except for Fridays when The Grand closes its gates at 1 am.
