At the height of the French Revolution, Lucie Manette and her wealthy husband fled Paris. Her small daughter, also named Lucie, was traumatised by her courageous and impossible escape. Now that Lucie the younger is older, she wants to know what really occurred from her mother. Lucie is filming a documentary to obtain those answers, bringing her family together to reenact incidents she was too young to remember.
