Down for the Count recreate the music of Nat ‘King’ Cole, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and many others in a lush 25-piece orchestral setting replicating the sounds of the famous Capitol Studios recordings.
Expect to hear faithful recreations of classic swing tunes such as I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Let’s Face The Music and Dance, and ‘S Wonderful, as well as original arrangements of jazz and holiday standards written by the Orchestra’s principal conductor Mike Paul-Smith and featured on our new album Swing Into Christmas, such as Winter Wonderland and The Christmas Song.
