The leading international fair Photo London returns to Somerset House in May, showcasing the very best of the past, present and future of photography. The Fair is a celebration of the medium in all its forms – from emerging contemporary artists to historic and iconic masters. Photo London brings together an impressive range of international galleries, offering visitors an opportunity to explore, discover and collect some of the world’s most exquisite photographic artworks.
As well as its main section featuring many well known established galleries, the Fair features a publishers section (independent houses as well as household names), an exhibition programme and a world-class Discovery section that spotlights galleries less than seven years old.
For the 2022 edition, the Discovery section will be curated by Tim Clark, writer, curator, lecturer and Editor-in-Chief at leading online contemporary photography magazine 1000 Words. A vibrant Public Programme will also run from 12 – 15 May. Alongside a comprehensive exhibition by Nick Knight, this year’s Master of Photography, there will be a vibrant and inspiring Talks Programme curated by renowned author, curator, professor, and museum director, William A. Ewing.
