Part of the Hadrian’s Wall UNESCO World Heritage Site. With a large interactive museum, a section of Wall and a 35 metre high viewing tower providing outstanding views across Tyneside there is also a changing programme of exhibitions. There is also a seasonal programme of events including historical re-enactments with gladiators and artisans, to regular events for families during school holidays. Kids under 16 always go free.
Romeo & Juliet at Churchill Studio
Shakespeare’s famous tale of two tragic teenagers and their fatal love will be brought up close and personal in this immediate and energetic re-telling, featuring an all-female cast.
