The RHS Botanical Art and Photography Show will be hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and the Saatchi Gallery in 2021. It will take place in September in conjunction with the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and will feature over 200 works of botanical art and garden photography by 34 international artists in a celebration of these technical art forms.
15 artists’ intricate and scientifically exact botanical drawings, as well as 19 photographers’ portfolio collections, will compete for an RHS Medal – Gold, Silver Gilt, Silver, or Bronze – at the event in 2021.
The RHS Botanical Art & Photography Expose 2021 will be the first to be hosted at the Gallery in London, and it will last for two weeks, allowing painters and photographers to present their work to a wider audience. To foster a love of botanical art and research, the show will be accompanied by a range of outreach programmes for schools and community organisations, including painting, sketching, and print workshops.
This ticketed show is free for members of the Saatchi Gallery and the Royal Horticultural Society.
