The V&A Museum of Childhood is a much-loved and inviting communal facility for everyone since its inception in 1872. It is being reimagined through new eyes as it reaches its 150th anniversary, with a unique tale to tell as East London’s first public museum. The new V&A Museum of Childhood will be the UK’s first national museum created by and for young people, drawing on their globally famous collections of art, design, and performance. It will be a place where you can study, create, and debate together, and plan for tomorrow.
