Sail through history with The Golden Hinde, the full-scale reconstruction of the first English ship to sail around the world.
This spectacular Tudor Galleon is moored by the Thames, right by London Bridge. The crew, in authentic Elizabethan dress, invite you to raise the anchor, load the cannons, or even stay over on one of our famous Night Voyages!
The ship can be visited for self-exploration; with the addition of dynamic demonstrations, object handling and audio guides.
In the evening; the galleon becomes a fantastic venue for concerts, talks, gigs, museum lates and more.
For schools, our acclaimed Education workshops provide hands-on activities to complement the national curriculum – discover the might of The Spanish Armada or piracy in the time of Francis Drake!
The ship is also an utterly unique location for private hire: including weddings, children’s birthday parties and corporate events. A venue like no other!
