Founded in 1989 by Sir Terence Conran, the Design Museum is devoted to contemporary design in every form, from architecture and fashion to graphics, product and industrial design.
The Design Museum is located at a spectacular landmark in Kensington, next to the stunning Holland Park. Kensington High Street is one of western London’s renowned places where shops, restaurants and cafés make a perfect day out.
The Design Museum’s exhibitions, events, retail, and digital learning programme invite everyone to experience and reflect on the value, impact and fascinating role of design in everyone’s lives.
Whilst the permanent collection is free to visit, there are many temporary exhibitions that are paid for. These can be found on the museum’s programme, located on their website.
