You’re never Players meet our staff at the designated location 15 minutes before the game, form teams of 2-4, gear up with special tablets that we provide, and embark on a two-hour live adventure. The designated location for Drake’s Secret is the entrance of V&A Museum at Exhibition Road; for The Wren Code it in the lobby of Leonardo Royal Hotel London St. Paul’s, however, due to the COVID19 pandemic social distancing rules and regulations, we will be using staggered start times and different start locations per 5 players for groups larger than 5 – details will be in your booking confirmation or will be communicated to you prior to your game by us by email.
⦿ Players walk to various nearby locations with the aid of a GPS map, solve puzzles, engage with Augmented Reality interactions, compete with opposing teams and earn points.
⦿ During the game, each team can interact with other teams virtually and monitor their progress.
⦿ As of September 2020, we have launched the Outscape Companion App for iPhone (available here) that allows the team to have 1 player designated to hold the iPad, while the rest of the team syncs to each current puzzle from their own iPhone. This allows the whole experience to be enjoyed while socially distancing.
⦿ The team that solves more puzzles and earns more points wins!
⦿ When all tasks are completed (or when the two-hour time limit expires), each team returns to the starting location for debriefing and announcement of the winner.
