Now moored permanently in St Katharine Docks, London, the Guernsey Hero lifeboat is the 52ft Arun class lifeboat Sir William Arnold built in 1973 and served all her lifesaving career at St Peter Port, Guernsey.
With their RYA training centre partners; Blue Lamp Afloat & Seavoice Training, they are a unique facility, able to host a variety of training courses here in central London. What finer location to learn and be surrounded by a marvel of maritime sea-going history.
Lifeboat 52-02 is a Private Limited Company formed to preserve and promote a piece of British lifeboat and life-saving history, whilst educating the public. They are neither a charity nor part of the RNLI, but their volunteers are Lifeboat enthusiasts. The company will from time to time make charitable donations to the RNLI, itself a voluntary organisation through activities and open days.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times (not suitable for children under 8 years) and face masks will need to be worn in confined areas inside the lifeboat, please.
