The London Eye’s putting on Jubilee Pub Pod Experience

Raise A Glass to Her Majesty in the sky in the London Eye’s Pub Pod

The London Eye is providing guests with the unique opportunity to travel back in time to the 1950s and experience Coronation Day while sipping the Queen’s favourite drink 135 metres above the ground to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The unique pod is designed to seem like a traditional British pub in honour of Her Majesty. The time capsule, dubbed ‘The Queen’s Head,’ transports visitors to a 1950s bar on the day Elizabeth II assumed the throne. Vintage bunting and décor, actual royal artefacts from the big day, a picture gallery chronicling the Queen’s years in service, and a classic pub dartboard will adorn the sky-high pub.

And to make sure the celebrations are fit for the Queen herself, guests will be served a choice of Beefeater Gin and Dubonnet-based cocktails. The Regal Spritz, a strawberry pink gin, Dubonnet, and prosecco-infused glass of bubbles, and Royal Delight, a full-bodied speciality serving with gin, Dubonnet, and Italian Bitter Aperitivo, with a touch of orange, are also on the menu.

Both beverages are beautifully designed to complement the Jubilee celebrations and breathtaking sights.
