3 Riverside Experiences you can enjoy this Summer in London 2022

Learn what exciting riverside experiences you can do this Summer.

The sun is shining back in the city again and after two tumultuous years, we can feel alive again with some outdoor Londoner lifestyle. But there is an important question to be made; If I can’t travel then where I am going? Well, the iVisit team is gonna present you with some summer alternatives to live in the city that will refresh your spirit and maybe even your body.

Openaire Cinema

As a surprise for our readers, we will start straight away with an innovative idea, a drive-through boat based cinema. Following the same format as with cars, you can rent out one of their boats to traverse through the channels in Little Venice, although they won’t offer you an Italian serenade they will give you plenty of time to enjoy the ride. So you can spend some quality time with your friends, drinking some prosecco and enjoying your favourite movies on the water and don’t worry about being able to hear the movie because you will be provided with headphones so you won’t miss a single scene on the screen.

London City Cruises

You should not underestimate the entertainment value of this classical ride. With 4 piers awaiting you at every key point of the city, you can cruise from Westminster to Greenwich seeing all the notable buildings that help to shape the city. On top of that, you can even have a gourmet experience with its various offerings of food and drink. Feel free to hop on one at any time of the day and enjoy the ride.

Thames RIB Experience

But on the other hand, if you are feeling adventurous and you want to feel the strong current of the Thames in your face this would be the best way to experience it. As the fastest speedboat on the river, raise your arms or hold the bar meanwhile you are flying through it with fantastic views such as the MI6, the HMS Belfast or even going down to the point of the Thames Barrier. With its two piers situated in Embankment and the Millenium Pier close to the Monument, it is an unmissable experience, so great that in fact, many celebrities have enjoyed this ride as well such as Uma Thurman and Susan Boyle.

So this has been our small list of places that you can enjoy on the riversides, if you have more to add to the list or comment, please do so on our social media channels. We hope in the team that this has inspired you to commit to your Summer in the City experience. So take care and see you later iVisitors!
