This holiday season, get into the Christmas spirit with a fun-filled family day out at Whipsnade Zoo. Visit Santa’s reindeer, attend one of their animal talks, and sample some delectable holiday treats! With some early Christmas treats, they’ll also be spreading merry cheer to the Whipsnade Zoo animals!

- Learn why reindeer are the natural choice for pulling Santa’s sleigh and see Whipsnade’s pair enjoy a delectable treat.
- Visit our red panda for breakfast and learn how they manage to survive in the frigid Himalayan mountains.
- Join our merry otters as they find out what they want in their Christmas stockings!
- Is it true that penguins enjoy the cold? Find out with the help of our feathered companions.
Storey time
Visit Hullabazoo Farm with our Presenters for an interactive narrative about a cranky hippo on a lovely Christmas Day. Don’t forget to say hello to our small donkeys, pygmy goats, sheep, bunnies, guinea pigs, chickens, and zebu while you’re there!
Eat, drink, and have a good time!
Warm up with a nice food or drink at Rudolph’s Winter Warmers, located near our reindeer pasture. There’s something for everyone, including mulled wine for adults and spiced apple juice for kids, as well as stews, mince pies, and hot chocolate.
